The Story Behind the Lot
Wei Pei meets an immortal
Wei Pei’s encounter with an immortal is a story passed down in folk tradition. It is said that Wei Pei was an honest and sincere person who, by chance, met an immortal and received spiritual guidance, an auspicious message, or a wondrous direction. Blessings descended from heaven and joy arrived from afar; his fortunes turned, and all went smoothly. This lot draws on the idea of “meeting an immortal by chance and receiving good news from heaven.” It suggests that an unexpected happy message or auspicious connection may suddenly come your way, as if blessed by heaven and bearing good fruit without deliberate effort. At this time, you may receive a surprise or sudden good news, and benefactors may quietly watch over and help your plans. Treat others sincerely and act with kindness; good fortune will come naturally, bringing one happy event after another. This is a sign of celebration at your door.

Liu Bei Finds Zhuge Liang
Liu Bei, the founding ruler of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period, spent his early years wandering and suffering repeated setbacks. Though he aspired to restore the Han dynasty, he lacked a capable adviser. Later, recommended by Xu Shu, he learned that Zhuge Liang, who lived in seclusion at Longzhong, was an extraordinary talent of the age. Liu Bei made the arduous journey three times to visit him. He failed to meet him on the first two visits, but on the third his sincerity moved Zhuge Liang. In the thatched cottage, Zhuge Liang analyzed the state of the realm for Liu Bei and proposed the “Longzhong Plan,” a strategy for dividing the land among three powers. He then left seclusion to serve Liu Bei. From then on, Liu Bei had the counsel he needed: he allied with Wu against Cao, took Jingzhou, secured Yizhou, and ultimately founded an empire that held one of the Three Kingdoms. This lot draws on the story of “Liu Bei finding Zhuge Liang” to signify meeting a talented adviser and receiving a benefactor’s support, returning with the foundations of success firmly in hand. Good assistance and support will accompany your plans, and things will go smoothly from beginning to end. Know that a benefactor is nearby and a good opportunity lies ahead. Seek help sincerely and seize the moment; great ambitions can be achieved and the future is bright.
