Zhen (震 ☳) — The Arousing

Bottom yang line under two yin; the trigram of thunder, awakening, sudden movement, and the eldest son.
Zhen (☳) places one solid yang at the bottom of two broken yin lines. Per the Shuogua, it corresponds to thunder, the eldest son, the foot, the dragon, and bamboo — anything that breaks ground and announces itself.
When Zhen appears in divination, expect sudden movement, surprise, decisive action breaking long inertia, or news that demands immediate response. It governs spring and the wood element's rising energy.
