Life Palace (命宮 Mìng Gōng)
The most important of the 12 palaces — defines core personality, identity, and overall life direction.
Life Palace is the anchor of every Ziwei Doushu chart, marking the native's essential identity, temperament, and the broad arc of their life. Whichever main star sits here colors how the person presents to the world.
When reading a chart, the Life Palace is examined first. Its star combinations, four-transformation flying, and the supporting stars determine the chart's "main note" before considering specific life domains.
