Moon Star (太陰 Tài Yīn)

The yin luminary — governing emotions, mother / female relatives, intuition, and inner wealth.
Moon Star (太陰) is the night-side luminary, complementing the Sun Star. It governs the principle of yin in the chart: emotional depth, intuition, the inner life, female relatives (especially the mother), and "hidden" or accumulated forms of wealth.
When the Moon is bright (in palaces 亥 to 卯, the night hours), the native tends to be tender, perceptive, artistically gifted, and good at saving. When the Moon is dim (巳 to 未), it suggests emotional volatility, financial leakage, or distance from female relatives.
