Qisha (七殺) — Seven Killings

繁: 七殺简: 七杀Qī Shā· Bazi (Four Pillars of Destiny)

Also known as: 偏官

Element conquering the Day Master, same polarity; represents pressure, authority, severe challenges, and martial discipline.

Qisha (also called 偏官) is the element that conquers (剋) the Day Master with the same polarity — e.g. a 甲 (yang wood) day master is conquered by 庚 (yang metal) as Qisha. It carries intense, sometimes harsh pressure: heavy responsibility, sharp authority, serious challenges, military or police-style discipline.

Properly tamed Qisha (typically by Shanguan, Shishen, or Yin star) gives commanding presence, ability to lead in crisis, and capacity to break through obstacles. Untamed Qisha brings constant pressure, conflict, accidents, or oppressive authority figures. Classical aphorism: "Qisha without restraint is a wild horse without bridle."
