Shishen (食神) — Output Star

Element produced by the Day Master, same polarity; represents creativity, flow, eating-and-drinking pleasures, and stable productivity.
Shishen is the element produced by the Day Master with the same polarity — e.g. a 甲 (yang wood) day master "produces" 丙 (yang fire) as Shishen. It represents what flows out: speech, art, children, food, the natural products of one's vitality.
A well-positioned Shishen brings calm confidence, talent in arts/teaching/cooking/writing, abundant lifestyle, and good fortune in offspring. Excessive Shishen can dilute focus or invite indulgence; too weak suggests creative blockage and lack of natural expression.
